Our team leads with a smile and kindness as our core value. Founded in 2020, our team hit the ground running to work toward our common goal – to bring kindness, integrity and fun to the caregiving industry through providing respite, habilitation and attendant care to Arizonans who need it most. We take immense pride in helping our Kindness Evolves family and knowing that we are helping to make a difference in our community everyday. With expertise in business, caregiving, member services, program development and more, our team has exceptional skill and works tirelessly to achieve the best outcome for each individual and family we work with.

A native of Chicago, Ms. Haugland began her career in training and development, successfully launching a national company specializing in tech, legal, banking and telecom. Following her arrival in Arizona, Haugland transformed the local real estate industry, effectively leveraging her corporate training background to groom successful brokers and agents, and eventually created one of the largest independent real estate brokerages in the country. Haugland is strongly focused and an astute leader, having built and sold several profitable businesses, and has helped clients and companies selectively and strategically build high-performance investment portfolios. After the sale of her Real Estate Brokerage Ms. Haugland built a Cardiac Cath Lab in Mesa, AZ. Her personal experience of being the mother of a child with developmental disabilities led her to become actively involved in providing care solutions to others with disabilities. This was the catalyst to her joining an agency to provide these services. Patricia is an owner and authorized signatory.

Having served as a Human Services Specialist III (Senior Level Support Coordinator) at the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Shayna brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Her expertise is centered in developing personalized care plans, collaborating with external agencies, and providing comprehensive support to our members. Her commitment to empowering individuals, fostering independence, and promoting community engagement perfectly exemplifies the mission and core values of Kindness Evolves.

With experience in real estate, advocacy and fundraising, Johanna brings a wealth of knowledge to her role with Kindness Evolves. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Women’s Studies from The University of Arizona, she brings a unique perspective on the social and political impacts of access to caregiving for Arizona families and utilizes this to guide her philosophy on leading, training, onboarding and advising our caregivers. Johanna serves as the Director for the Southern Arizona Region, connecting our providers with opportunities to serve families across Southern Arizona and Tucson.

With a professional background in communications, public relations and higher education, Emma brings her creativity to the Kindness Evolves team to help communicate our mission and showcase our work on all digital platforms. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Arizona, and a Masters of Education from Northern Arizona University, she brings her communications and higher education leadership experience together to help drive communications, events and public relations for Kindness Evolves. Emma is driven by her passion for the community here in Arizona and helping others through her work.
